Four years ago I had the opportunity to take this training for the first time and was recently very fortunate to attend it again.  The principles and skills I learned transformed the way I work with parents in my mediation practice and continue to influence my work every day.

As a former trainer for a Fortune 500 company, I tend to be fairly discerning when it comes to training programs, presentation quality and real-world applicability.  The program once again exceeded my expectations. Christina and Kelly were exceptional, engaging and knowledgeable.  The content and materials provided were also exceptionally well done.

This training offers practical, compassionate and effective tools for professionals working with separating, divorcing or never-married parents.  What I have come to appreciate even more over the years is a child-centered focus not only benefits the children involved, but often helps co-parents communicate more effectively, reduce conflict, and make more thoughtful child-centered decisions during an incredibly difficult chapter in their lives.  I believe this approach has positively impacted many of the parents and families I have had the privilege to work with and serve.

I often ask my clients: "If you could do everything possible to create a child-centered divorce for your children instead of giving them a childhood centered around divorce and conflict, what would you choose?"

So many amazing takeaways from this extremely thorough training. The resources, tools, and strategies were all so well researched and thought out. The docs provided were well made and it felt like they were one step ahead of any questions I could have had. I am looking forward to applying these tools and strategies with not only my clients, but with everyday life. I learned so much from not only Christina and Kelly, but from every professional in that room who was taking the training. The Co-Parenting Specialist (CoPS) training was one of the best investments I’ve made. I use what I learned daily—not as theory, but as practical tools I can implement immediately. The biggest value for me was how actionable the material was: I applied it right away and saw meaningful improvements in real-world co-parenting dynamics.

Because of this training, I help clients parent more thoughtfully every week—and I’m able to teach concrete, usable skills that protect kids from the fallout of adult conflict.
