Unlike other training programs, the Co-Parenting Specialist Training Program is designed to help professionals learn a child-centered approach. In short, we teach professionals how to help parents focus on the needs of their children more than each other.
We firmly believe that learning should be applicable, practical, and useful. For that reason, this program is a "boots-on-the-ground” course. Our team is highly committed to teaching hands-on, real-world strategies and tools. Many of our participants tell us that they have had opportunities to use the information and skills they’re learning with clients before they have even finished the course.
In our opinion, this program is more than just another training program. It’s a movement that brings together passionate, like-minded professionals committed to changing the culture of divorce for children and their families.

From our perspective, the sooner professionals have access to this information, the better.
Our training program is designed to meet you where you are in your respective discipline. For that reason, our training encompasses a wide range of experience and insight. We have attendees who are just starting out and others who have been practicing for years.
In the Co-parenting Specialist courses, we capitalize on the knowledge and experience in our virtual training rooms. You not only get a chance to learn from our highly seasoned trainers, but you also get a chance to learn from your colleagues.
We believe we are smarter, more capable, and more creative as a collective than we are on our own.
At this time, we do not offer a payment plan for the course.
YES! As a matter of fact, our training guides and additional materials are one of the many things our participants love about this program. Each training day comes with a downloadable pdf companion guide that supports the content covered in the course.
Additionally, we offer a wide variety of high-quality handouts, tools, and resources designed to help you help your clients.
The materials distributed and shared in our trainings are designed to be used by our graduates in their respective disciplines.
We require that all materials used with clients provide attribution to Christina McGhee as the original author, along with acknowledgment of her copyright and her contact information.

Our program is designed to be participatory. To protect the integrity of a live in-person experience, we do not offer recordings of our training sessions. We also have a strict policy that particpants may not miss more than two hours total of our 4-day program.
If you have any questions about this policy, please feel free to contact our team.
We value your interest in our program. Please know that we work hard to offer a high-quality training experience for all of our participants. For that reason, our programs tend to fill up fast and often sell out.
We fully understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. However, reserving a spot for you means turning away other interested professionals.
Here's how our refund policy works:
- More than 14 days before the training starts: If you need to cancel your registration, you can do so by emailing our team at least 14 days before the training starts.
You will receive a full refund, less a $250 cancellation fee, that helps us cover administrative expenses.
To request a refund, you can email us at: support@coparentingspecialist.com
- Within 14 days of the training: To ensure fairness to all participants and manage our course preparations effectively, we do not offer refunds if the cancellation occurs with less than 14 days notice of the program start date.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to providing you with a valuable training experience
Please note that in accordance with our attendance policy, we will not award a certificate of completion to participants who miss more than two hours of the total 16-hour training.
If you have an issue and need to miss more than 2 hours, we will provide you the opportunity to make up that portion of the course at the next training we offer.
For example if you enroll for the SPRING training and miss Day 2 because you are sick, we would provide you an chance to take Day 2 during our FALL training.
*Certificates, badges and credits will not be awarded until make-up hours have been completed.
Our trainings are designed to be participatory. To maximize the experience and learning of all participants, we require all attendees to keep their cameras on during the entire training session.
Attendance and “on-camera” active participation are also required in order to receive a certificate of completion and the Co-Parenting Specialist Certification.
In addition to being seen and heard by the trainers and other colleagues, keeping your camera on allows us to record your involvement in the course.
We will not provide credit or certification if we cannot document your attendance. Staying on camera helps us meet this requirement.
*If this will be an issue for you, please reach out to our team at support@coparentingspecialist.com
To maximize the experience for all participants, please set up your device in a distraction-free area with a strong internet connection.
While this is a virtual course, it is not an on-demand program. All learning in this training is designed to be live and in-person, we do not provide recordings of the training.
